Testimonials of trick roper & Gun spinner Will Roberts
Viva Elvis at ARIA
I usually resist the temptation to review a Las Vegas show this early in its run, even though I believe a show that’s ready to charge money should be ready to critique. Regardless, after being invited to two media presentations, here’s my take on the newest Cirque show:…
“Mystery Train,” a medley of Elvis’ Sun songs, with cartoon cowboys doing amazing lasso tricks;
VIVA ELVIS – City Center – Las Vegas , Las Vegas Nevada
It was a pleasure getting to know you better and watching your performance at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. I have seen many one man shows imitating my great-grandfather Will Rogers and I must say yours is one of the best. You certainly have a knack for his wonderful sense of humor. I wish you well with your show and hope to see you again in the near future.

Thanks again, Will for two great shows in Dodge City. Thankfully the audience was a little quicker and a little warmer on Saturday, but both were fine shows.
We have had nothing but great comments on the show, and Dodge City and the Trail of Fame would certainly welcome you back to town for Dodge City Days or any other celebration in the future.

Words escape us telling you how much we enjoyed and appreciated the few days you spent with us in February. Suffice it to say we will bust our buckles to find a way to bring you back to Dodge City!
Your performances here were stellar as you entranced our audiences with your portrayal of a modern day Will Rogers. The character you created came magically to life on our stages with all the homespun wit and superb trick roping that the late Mr. Rogers would surely have brought. The gun spinning and audience interaction hi-jinks were icing on the cake.
Moreover, your untiring efforts in the local community to assist our non-profit with ticket sales and promotion of the event several days in advance ensured a fully successful event for us. We cannot thank you enough. You will be a welcome addition to our new program of Dodge City Trail of Fame Trail Hands (along with Buck Taylor, Dennis Weaver, and James Arness) which we hope to institute later this year.
Looking forward to working with you in the future we remain your friends,
Jim Johnson – Dodge City Trail of Fame, Dodge City Kansas
